How do I connect HelloForms to Microsoft Teams?

In Teams, open the channel → Connectors (or Workflows) → Incoming Webhook. Copy the generated URL and paste it below. You can do the whole thing from the form's Integrations tab — no code and no developer account required.

What do I need before I start?

You need a Microsoft Teams webhook URL on webhook.office.com or office.com or logic.azure.com. Everything else is configured in HelloForms.

What does Microsoft Teams receive for each submission?

A Teams channel card listing each included question and answer. You choose which questions are included, so fields you would rather keep private never leave HelloForms.

Is the Microsoft Teams integration available on the free plan?

Yes. Delivery destinations are part of the product rather than a paid add-on, so you can connect and test one on a free form before upgrading.

What happens if a delivery to Microsoft Teams fails?

Transient failures are retried automatically with exponential backoff, and every attempt is written to the delivery log with the status code and the response body the provider returned. Repeated hard failures disable the destination instead of retrying forever, and you can retry a specific submission from the response.

Where are my credentials stored?

Webhook URLs are stored server-side, are never rendered in your published form, and are shown masked in the dashboard. Delivery happens from the server, so nothing is exposed to respondents.

Can I reuse the same Microsoft Teams connection on other forms?

Yes. Save it as an account-level connection once and pick it from the credentials selector when you add the destination to another form — you never re-enter the token.

Does it work with the new Teams Workflows connector?

Yes. URLs on webhook.office.com and logic.azure.com are both accepted, so classic Incoming Webhooks and Workflows-based endpoints work.
