It records the team name, club and division, the season or tournament, and the coach or manager with a phone number that will be answered on a match day. The squad itself is entered as a list with each player's name, shirt number and date of birth, since a date of birth is what settles an age-group eligibility dispute after the fact. It captures the captain and the number of players registered. Confirmations do the compliance work: that every player is eligible for the age group, that medical and consent paperwork is held by the club, and that any required physical or clearance is on file.
