About this template
A shoot without a signed agreement is a shoot where the deposit, the delivery date and the usage rights are all up for debate later. This session contract turns the agreed enquiry into a record both sides sign. It states the parties, the session type, the confirmed date, call time, location and duration, then the fee, deposit amount and the balance due date. Deliverables are explicit: how many edited images, in what formats, by what delivery date, and how long the gallery stays online. Cancellation, reschedule and bad-weather terms are set out plainly, along with travel and overtime rates so an overrun is priced before it happens. A usage section records what the client may do with the images and whether the photographer may use them in a portfolio or advertising. The client signs and dates; you countersign. Every paragraph is placeholder text you should adapt to your own terms and have reviewed locally.
